Med regeringens nye lempelser er vi nu gradvist på vej tilbage til vores fysiske arbejdspladser. Håndteringen af Corona-pandemiens senfølger sætter hidtil usete standarder for agilitet og it-sikkerhed, og det kræver en stram rolle- og rettighedsstyring. En automatiseret IAM-platform kan være løsningen.
Meget er sket i løbet af det seneste år.
Fra den ene dag til den anden sendte Corona de fleste kontor-ansatte hjem for at arbejde fra spisebordet. Det tog dog ikke lang tid for os at indse, at der ikke var grund til at begrænse sig til at arbejde indenfor hjemmets 4 vægge, når vi f.eks. lige så godt kunne arbejde fra sommerhuset. At folk arbejder fra, hvor de nu engang befinder sig er i dag blevet en realitet, som HR- og it-afdelinger må tage stilling til verden over.
”Hvor-du-befinder-dig”-arbejdspladsen er dog kun én af de ting, som virksomheder i dag kæmper med at håndtere. Da pandemien tog fart i foråret og de fleste af os blev sendt hjem, blev mange virksomheder nødt til med stor hast at implementere nye systemer for kunne imødekomme den ny hverdag. Dermed foretog de et voldsomt digitaliseringsspring på ganske kort tid, ikke uden konsekvenser: De færreste havde en systematisk/automatiseret tilgang til onboarding af nye systemer, og pga. tidspres måtte selv simple sikkerhedsprotokoller tilsidesættes.

Fasthold medarbejderen med uproblematisk onboarding
Læg oveni, at nogle virksomheder er vokset voldsomt under krisen og har ansat medarbejdere i bundter. Med genåbningen er det ikke kun medarbejdere på lønkompensation, der så småt ved at vende tilbage. Virksomheder, der har ligget i dvale under nedlukningen er også begyndt at ansætte igen. Dermed er det ikke kun sikkerhedsproblematikken, der er i spil; En undersøgelse, foretaget af Aberdeen Group fastslår, at virksomhedens håndtering af onboarding-situationen har direkte indflydelse på medarbejderens tilfredshed og fastholdelse i jobbet. En ikke uvæsentlig detalje i en tid, hvor flere brancher i forvejen har svært ved at finde kvalificeret arbejdsskraft.
Svaret ligger i automatiseret onboarding, styret igennem en IAM-løsning. Løsningen, der tildeler adgange og rettigheder på baggrund af roller, kan sikre, at medarbejderen har adgang til alle relevante systemer og data fra øjeblikket, hun træder ind i virksomheden på sin allerførste dag. Dermed fjernes spildtid og frustrationer over manglende adgange, samtidig med at risikoen for sikkerhedsbrister pga. overflødige adgange minimeres.

Rolle- og rettighedsstyring lukker døren for ”ubudne gæster”
Ved at tildele adgange og rettigheder baseret på roller sikrer man bl.a., at den enkelte medarbejder ikke ved en fejl uretmæssigt kommer til at sidde med adgange til personlige data, og dermed bliver et svagt led i forhold til hackere eller andre ”ubudne gæster”.
Adgangene kan oprettes, lukkes – også midlertidigt – og nemt åbnes igen fra centralt sted, alt sammen baseret på medarbejderens rolle i organisationen. Proceduren tager ganske få minutter og effekten er øjeblikkelig, men kan dog uden besvær sættes i kraft med virkning fra en bestemt dato og tidspunkt, eller iværksættes med tilbagevirkende kraft hvis det er nødvendigt.
Dette er lige nyttigt, om man byder nye medarbejdere velkommen, eller hvis en medarbejder har været udsat for et cyber-angreb.
